Microsoft: Buy a PC because it's cheaper than a Mac (not better, just cheaper)

You have to wonder
what the hell the people up in Redmond are drinking
these days. First there was the disastrous spots
with Seinfeld and now a new spot exploring the cost
difference between a PC laptop and Mac laptop with
such lines as "I guess I'm not cool enough for a
Mac". In today's economy value is determined a hell
of lot more than price. It is quality and service
and on both issues Apple wins hands down. Have you
ever tried to call Microsoft with an issue or
question on Office or Windows software? It's a maze
that is sure to leave all but the most determined
angry and upset at the lack of support and customer
service. But what is more important here is that
once a brand starts heading down a path of price
it's a hard trend to reverse. Read
