Iowa does not represent the country

Iowa does not represent the country. It is too rural a state and too far removed from the realities of most living in most metropolitan areas so Mr. Huckabee and Mr Obama should not be patting themselves on the back too much right now.


Mr Huckabee will not be the Republican nominee for President. He has too many skeletons in the closet, is a Bapist minister and has too many conservative core beliefs that go against the political mainstream. I think that the vote for Mr Huckabee in Iowa was not so much a vote for him but a vote against the negative attack ads run by Mitt Rominey.

Now to Mr Obama. Let me start by saying that this man scares the shit out of me. Here we have a candidate that has done absolutely NOTHING in his career and wants to enter the political arena as the leader of the most powerfule country on earth at a time when the world is a hell of a lot more dangerous then it was before Mr Bush took office. Again the vote for Mr Obama was not so much a vote for him but a vote for "politicians" like Hillary.

Iowans wanted to show the country that they were different but in reality all they showed was how irrelevent they are. In two weeks they will be all but forgotten and for good reason it is a rural state that prefers to keep quiet except every 4th year when candidates come to their state to spend money
