Sex and politicans

So sex takes down another politician, this time a governor from New York. While the act of getting an "escort" is not bad there are several things which made this a despicable act. First he was married and cheated on his wife, several time it would seem, but more importantly he was the highest law enforcement executive in New York at Attorney General and what he did violated the law and the oath of his office and profession. A giant ego that put a lot of people on the "hot seat" it is now proof that what goes around can in fact come around.

Now there are a lot of reasons why men stray outside a relationship for sex. First, a lot of married people do not communicate their sexual needs and wants to their partners thus they go unfulfilled. Second, men can separate the act of getting laid from love. Men can basically have sex with anything with a pulse and then pack up and go home. When we see a nice looking lady we naturally try to think what she would like naked. To do this is natural but there is a huge difference between thinking she would be great in bed and taking action on it, especially at $5K a pop.

It all comes down to integrity: that which each of us has inside ourselves that allows us to stray or do what is right. I can look myself in the mirror and know that I have not hurt the one I love most but evidently a lot of other people can rationalize what they did as "no big deal, I just got laid"..too bad their partners don't see it that way
